KIPA 입찰담합 의혹

정보통신부 산하 한국소프트웨어진흥원(KIPA)이 주관하는 30억원 규모의 ‘공개소프트웨어기반 유비쿼터스 오피스사업’을 위한 사업자선정 과정에 사전 담합의혹이 제기되고 있다.

1일 관련업계에 따르면 입찰 주관기관인 소프트웨어진흥원은 전 원장 출신이 회장으로 가있는 특정업체가 사업권을 따낼 수 있도록 불공정한 물밑 지원을 하고 있다.

이번에 사업자로 선정된 업체는 정통부의 예산지원으로 소프트웨어진흥원이 4개 기관(춘천시청, 소프트웨어진흥원, 한국정보통신산업협회, 강원대학)에 리눅스 기반의 유비쿼터스시스템을 구축하는 사업을 맡게 된다.

MS는 네비게이션 시스템부터 뮤직 플레이어, 정보기기에 이르기까지 각종 자동차용 전자제품에 윈도우 CE 경량화 버전을 적용하라고 다수 자동차 제조업체들을 대상으로 설득에 나섰다.

MS는 현재 적어도 BMW의 설득에는 성공한 것처럼 보인다. 이 외에도 MS는 혼다, 볼보 등과도 계약을 체결했다고 발표한 적이 있다.

Newly discovered security flaws in Microsoft's Internet Explorer could let attackers invade a user's PC, but a fix is not yet available.
Danish security firm Secunia warned that when used together, the flaws could allow an attacker to execute malicious code on a user's PC.

The flaws were reported this week by researcher Liu Die Yu, who posted the information on public security messaging boards, and appear to exist on PCs that are patched with the latest Microsoft security updates. Users are advised to switch off active scripting in Internet Explorer until a patch becomes available, or to use a non-IE browser.

Marcelo Tosatti has released the final 2.4.23 stable Linux kernel, three months after 2.4.22. This latest kernel includes a number of changes, including the removal of the OOM (out of memory) killer among other significant VM updates. Laptop users will appreciate Jens Axboe's "laptop mode" which can extend battery life, also merged in 2.4.23. Find this latest stable kernel at a kernel.org mirror.

현재 국내에 Linux에 관련한 서적의 숫자는 컴퓨터 관련서적들중에서
한 색션을 이룰수 있을 만큼 많이 있습니다 (대부분이 특정 배포판과
입문자들을 위한 겉햘기싶이라는점이 문제긴 하지만) 그에 반해 지금까지
국내에서 발간된 FreeBSD관련된 서적은 제가 알고있기로는 단 한권입니다.
국내 유일의 FreeBSD커미터이신 최준호님이 쓰신 국내 유일의 FreeBSD
관련 서적 영진출판사의 About FreeBSD가 그것입니다. 하지만
그것마저도 현재는 절판되어서 구할수가 없는 실정입니다. - 믿으실지

FreeBSD를 개인적으로 가장 좋아하는데...
또 새로운 Beta 버젼이 나왔네요^^
집에 시스템만 괜찮으면 설치를 하고 싶지만...
집에 제대로 된건... p150인 관계로 거의 포기...

Linus Torvalds has released his final 2.6.0-test kernel, calling it the "Beaver In Detox". Following this release Linus says that 2.6 development will be lead by Andrew Morton. The kernel's name refers in jest to the previous release, which Linus had named "Stoned Beaver". It contains a fix for the aic7xxx driver, proper error handling in do_fork(), some firewire fixes, and correction of a few skbuff leakage points. Download it from a kernel.org mirror.

저 로고에 써진 말 너무 좋네요.

ekkoBSD라니 ekko 꼭 우리 나라 사람의 이름 약자같습니다.
전직장 동료의 이름과도 너무 비슷 ^^

OpenBSD에서 떨어져나왔다고 합니다.
보안을 위하고, 안전하고, 유연적이며, 단순한 형태(추구하려는게 길지요? ^^ )로 관리하는 것을 목적으로하는 ekkoBSD.
ekkoBSD가 오늘 공식적으로 1.0 Beta1B를 릴리즈했습니다.
발표한 버전은 x86용이며 곧 Pegasos II PPC ( http://ekkobsd.pegasosppc.com/ )와 sparc용도 나올 거랍니다.

The 2.6 version of the Linux core is expected in December and will be much more stable on arrival than its predecessor, according to the maintainer. Because 2.6 includes many of the customizations Linux sellers have used, the release of the new kernel will reduce the differences between those products and the standard version at Kernel.org. That's significant, because Linux programmers are working to keep Linux from "forking" into incompatible versions, as happened with Unix.
