The KDE 4.0 Release Event Team is pleased to announce a contest for the KDE 4.0 Release Event. The winners of this contest will be flown out to Mountain View, California on January 17-19, 2008. Hotel and meals will be covered for them during the event. Read on for information about the contest.

The purpose of this contest is to find the most enthusiastic KDE community member and reward him or her with a ticket to the KDE 4.0 Release Event held at the Google Headquarters at Mountain View, CA. There, he or she will be representing the community together with the other KDE community attendees. The winner will speak briefly at the event to share the spirit of their winning submission.
To prove that you are the most enthusiastic KDE community member, answer the question: "Why should you be at the KDE 4.0 Release Event?". Entries should be a maximum of 1,000 words, and anyone is free to send in a submission. You can send it in plain-text or another open format to release-event@kde.org. Entries will be accepted from midnight October 1, 2007 until midnight October 21, 2007.
The contest entries will be reviewed by the KDE e.V. board and the Marketing Working Group. The winner will be announced on October 29, 2007. As usual, bribery of the judges is not only allowed, but recommended.

KDE 4.0 릴리즈 이벤트 팀은 KDE 4.0 릴리즈 이벤트에 대한 콘테스트를 알리게 되어 기쁩니다. 이 콘테스트의 승자는 2008년 1월 17~19일 동안 켈리포니아 마운틴 뷰를 여행하게 될 것입니다. 이 이벤트 동안 숙식비는 모두 제공됩니다. 콘테스트에 대한 정보를 읽어보십시오.

이 콘테스트의 목적은 가장 열렬한 KDE 커뮤니티 구성원들을 찾기 위함이며, 켈리포니아 마운틴뷰에 위치한 구글 HQ에서 갖게 될 KDE 4.0 릴리즈 이벤트의 티켓을 수여하기 위한 것입니다. 참석자는 다른 KDE 커뮤니티 참가자들이 보는 가운데 자신들의 커뮤니티를 소개할 것입니다. 수상자는 입상된 공모작의 정신을 나누기 위해 연설하게 될 것입니다.
자신이 가장 열렬한 KDE 커뮤니티 구성원임을 증명하기 위해 다음 물음에 답해주십시오. "왜 우리는 KDE 4.0 릴리즈 이벤트를 해야하는가?" 1000단어 내외의 항목으로 누구나 응모할 수 있습니다. 순수한 텍스트 문서나 공개 문서 형식(ODF)으로 release-event@kde.org 에 응모하여 주십시오. 공모기간은 10월 21일 밤 12시(우리나라 시각 22일 오전 9시)까지 입니다.
콘테스트 응모작들은 KDE e.V. 의회와 마케팅 작업 그룹에서 심사할 것입니다. 수상자는 10월 29일 발표됩니다. 일반적으로 판정의 뇌물도 좋고, 추천도 좋습니다. +_+ (씨익~!)
