VMware 설정이 안돼요...페도라5입니다..

vmware 5.5.0 을 설치후

vmware-config.pl 을 실행해서 설치하고 있는도중에

이런 메시지가 뜨더군요...

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

전에는 잘됬는데 페도라5 로 오고나서 이러게나옵니다...

페도라 5 커널 2.6.16 입니다...

그리고 이외로 버그 상당히 많은거같더군요?? 다시 페도라4로 깔가 생각중입니다..

파폭에서 플래쉬플레이어가 안깔린다든지......메모장에서 단축키로 저장하면 키보드가 먹통이 된다던지...

FC5에 vmware를 설치한후에 vmware-config.pl을 실행시키면
The kernel defined by this directory of header files does not have the same
address space size as your running kernel.

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

이런 메시지에서 다음으로 않넘어 갑니다. 이 문제를 해결하는 방법이 나왔네요.

우선 kernel-devel 설치해야 합니다. Add/Remove software로 추가 설치하면 됩니다.

그후 vmware-any-any-update 패치를 설치합니다. (출처는 http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/vmware-any-any-update98.tar.gz 입니다)

압축을 푼후에 슈퍼유저로 runme.pl를 실행시켜 패치합니다.

그후에 다시 vmware-config.pl 을 실행시키면 정상적으로 설정될겁니다.

저도 이걸로 잘쓰고 있습니다.
