커널 컴파일에서 리로설정 질문입니다....

정말정말정말정말정말정말정말정말정말정말정말정말~

리눅스 어렵습니다... shock

그야말로 시간잡아먹는 괴물이더군요...

궁금한것은 이건데요...커널컴파일 할라고 합니다...

/usr/src/linux_2.6.14/ 에 최신의 커널파일 가지고 와서 압축풀고

make config // 뭔지 몰라서 무조건 엔터쳤음.

make dep

make modules

make bzImage // 여기서는 오류몇개 뜨더라구요?

make modules_install

이렇게 실행했습니다...

그리고 /etc/lilo.conf 파일을 수정하면 끝나는거죠??

근데 문제는 lilo.conf 파일이 없더라구요...ㅡ.ㅡ;;

리로는 기본 설치 아닌가요?? 아니면 제가 lilo.conf 파일은 만드는건가요??

어떻게 설정하는건지 도저히 감이 안잡히네요..

그리고 저는 페도라4 입니다..

GRUB도 있습니다. /etc/grub.conf가 있다면 그걸 열어서 보세요. 아니면 /boot/grub/menu.lst 인가? 그것을 보시고 입력 하셔도 되고요. 요즘은 LILO를 잘 안 씁니다. GRUB가 대세지만, 필요한 경우 LILO를 쓰기도 합니다.

그리고 들어가서... make modules_install install 이렇게 해 보세요.. 모듈이 설치 되고 그 뒤에 커널이 RH계열이면 보통 알아서 깔립니다 음.

그럼 도움 되셨나 모르겠네요.. 그리고 컴파일 할 때... make config보다.. 편하게 하고 싶으시면 menuconfig해서 하세요. 그나마 좀 더 알아 보기 쉬우실 겁니다.

그리고 영어 조금만 해석 하시가 보면 쉬워요.
