Google의 오픈소스 프로그램 매니저인 Chris Dibona씨가 이 Award의 히스토리와 노미네이션 과정에 대해 간략히 설명중입니다. 노미네이션은 오픈되어 누구나 누구든지 추천할 수 있다고 하네요.

Best Interoperator 부문에는 삼바 프로젝트의 Andrew Tridgell이 선정되었습니다.

Defender of Rights 부문에는 gplviolations.org의 Harald Welte가 선정되었네요. 라이센스 관련해서 오랫동안 활동해 왔지요.

Best Contributor 부문입니다. drupal의 Angela Byron이 선정되었네요. drupal은 이번 OSCon에 부스도 냈습니다.

이번에는 Best Education Enabler 부문입니다. 무선마우스가 잠깐 오동작해서 약간의 작은 소동이 있었네요. Martin Dougiamas 가 선정되었습니다. Moodle 프로젝트 쪽이죠. Moodle빼곤 사실 교육용으로 잘 알려진 오픈소스 프로젝트가 거의 없기도 하지만... (적어도 제가 아는 선에선) 아무튼 축하합니다. 나이도 지긋하신 분이네요. 머리와 수염이 희끗희끗...

끝났습니다. 수상자로 선정된 사람 중 실제로 참석을 해서 트로피를 현장에서 받아간 사람은 두명이네요. Drupal과 Moodle쪽... 이것으로 생중계는 마칩니다.
