[팁]mplayer에서 스트리밍 시청시 초반 딜레이 잡기...

mplayer로 스트리밍방송 시청시 첨에 엄청난 딜레이가 있습니다.
방송보고 듣고 하는데 이거 채널 바꾸거나 할때 아주 고역일 정도로 길더군요...
버퍼문제인것 같아 아무리 찾아봐도 버퍼설정 메뉴나 라인이 없더군요...
잘보니 버퍼라 표시하지 않고 캐쉬라고 표기되어 있더군요...;;; 이거 용어 통일이 안되어 있어서야...;

간단합니다. 설정메뉴들어가서 기타부분(Misc)의 캐쉬사이즈를 줄여주면 됩니다.
설치시 기본값이 8192로 설정되어 있더군요... (매번 시작할때마다 8메가 다채울려니 시간이 얼마나 오래 걸렸겠습까...)
1024로 설정해주고 연결하니 괜찮군요... (라디오방송을 주로 들으신다며 512도 괜찮을듯 합니다...)

콘솔 mplayer 에서는...

~/.mplayer/config 에
cache=캐쉬사이즈
또는 커맨드 라인에서
mplayer -cache=캐쉬사이즈 'mms://어쩌구'

요렇게 해주면 되겠군요...
