SK 텔레콤이 드디어 발신자표시(Caller ID, CID)서비스의 무료화를 발표했다. 시행은 2006년 1월 1일부터이다.

SK 텔레콤은 그동안 사용자들과 시민단체 등이 CID 서비스 자체가 이미 전화신호에 포함되서 발송되는 것인 만큼 추가비용이 전혀 들지 않음을 들어 무료화하라는 요구를 받아왔으며, 18일 무료화를 발표했다.

SK 텔레콤측에서는 이번 무료화 발표는 이미 CID 서비스가 사용자의 90% 이상이 사용하는 보편적인 서비스로 자리잡았기 때문에 무료 서비스로 전환하게 되었다고 말했다.

Vim 6.4 has been released

[2005-10-15] It has been more than a year since version 6.3 was released. Dozens of bugs have been fixed, runtime files were added and updated. There are no new features, these go into Vim 7 now (still under development). This is a stable Vim release, everybody is encouraged to upgrade to version 6.4. Vim 6.4a BETA version available

[2005-10-09] At last a new release! This is Vim 6.3 plus lots of patches plus updated runtime files. Most of this has been tested for a while, thus you can use this release for daily work. Because of the long time since the previous release this BETA version was made to check for any problems in the distributed files. If you see something wrong, please report it!
