리눅스 신출내기 입니다.

Fedora 6 에서 nvidia gt8500 그래픽 카드 드라이버를 설치했는데

도저히 안됩니다.

컴퓨터는 intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GHz입니다.

그래픽 카드는 GT 8500 계열입니다.

설치 파일은

NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9639-pkg1.run

NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.09-pkg1.run

NVIDIA-Linux-x86-171.06.01-pkg1.run

NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-173.14.12-pkg2.run

그외 기타등등 파일

진짜 별별 run 파일 다 실행시켜서 커널 잡아주고 xorg.conf 파일 설정

메뉴얼대로 다 바꾸어 주어도 안됩니다.

fedora땜시 돌아버리겠...

제발 도와주세요.

어떻게 하면 x-window 창을 띄울 수 있을까요?

p.s : 제발 fedora7으로 바꾸라는 말만 하지 마세요.

fedora 7이어도 상관없는거고,
ubuntu여도 상관없는 것 아닙니까?

하드웨어 자동으로 잡는 것은 ubuntu가 아주 좋은데,
꼭 fedora 6을 써야 할 이유가 없다면
ubuntu를 추천합니다.

update도 잘되고,
웬만한 프로그램 쉽게 install할 수 있고..
요즘 사용자가 많기 때문에 문제 생겼을 때
도움 받을 만한 사람도 많은 것이 장점이죠.
