버퍼 I/O 에러를 어떻게 해결해야 하는지 모르겠습니다.

우분투로 부팅할 때 부팅에 문제는 없지만 에러메시지를 내보냅니다.
그 에러 메시지를 대충 해석해 보니

' 디바이스 hda의 논리블록 39102336 에서 버퍼 I/O 에러가 발생했다'

는 내용임을 알 수 있었습니다.

혹시 몰라서 영어로 된 메시지를 올립니다. 영어 메시지는 아래와 같습니다.

Buffer I/O error on device hda, logical block 39102336

이 에러 메시지가 뜻하는 바가 뭔지 잘 모르겠습니다.
이게 하드디스크에 배드섹터가 난 걸 뜻하는 건가요?

xp와 멀티부팅을 하고 있지만 엑스피 부팅시에는 에러메시지가 안 나옵니다.

저 에러를 해결할 방법을 알려주세요.

1년 전에 제가 관리하던 서버에 하드디스크가 손상되었을 때 저 에러 메시지를 본 것 같네요. badblocks라는 프로그램으로 리눅스의 루트 파티션을 검사해 보시기 바랍니다.
