c#에서 XML문서 참조하기

c#에서 XML문서를 참조하여 불러오거나 쓰기위해서 어떻게 해야하죠?
컨트룰에 내용을 불러오고 연산을 해야하는데
잘안되는군요

XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument();
doc.Load(@"..\..\sample.xml");
XmlElement root = doc.DocumentElement;
Person_Txt.Text = root.FirstChild.FirstChild.FirstChild.NextSibling.FirstChild.Name + ":" + root.FirstChild.FirstChild.FirstChild.NextSibling.FirstChild.InnerText + "명" + root.FirstChild.FirstChild.FirstChild.NextSibling.LastChild.Name + root.FirstChild.FirstChild.FirstChild.NextSibling.LastChild.InnerText+"명";
ServerNameTxt.Text = root.FirstChild.FirstChild.FirstChild.InnerText;

이런식으로 읽어오긴했는데 아무래도 이건 코드도 난잡하고 아닌것같아서요
질문 올립니다.
1.XML문서를 컨트룰에 어떻게 불러오고 쓸수 있는지
2.c#에서 XML을 어떻게 활용하는지 알구 싶습니다.

XPath를 사용하시면 됩니다.

xml 문서가

<root>
   <node index="1">1</node>
   <node index="2">2</node>
</root>

이면

XmlDocmuemt xmlDoc = new XmlDocument();
xmlDoc.Load( xml )
XmlNodeList xmlNodes = xmlDoc.SelectNodes( "/root/node" );
 
foreach( XmlNode xmlNode in xmlNodes )
   Debug.WriteLine( xmlNode.Value )

이렇게 xpath로 select 하시면 됩니다.
