[완료] nvidia 드라이버 설치 후 폰트가 커졌습니다.

Debian sid 사용중이구요,
nvidia-glx 패키지로 드라이버를 설치했습니다.
/etc/X11/xorg.conf 에 드라이버를 nv 에서 nvidia 로 바꾸니 드라이버가 작동하더군요.

그런데 드라이버 변경 후에 X의 폰트가 전부 커졌습니다.

이유와 해결책을 알 수 있을까요?

그리고 맥푹프로를 사용중인데 리눅스에서와 맥OSX 에서 색감이 크게 다릅니다.

이거는 nv 드라이버나 nvidia 드라이버나 마찬가지네요, X 에서 뭔가를 설정해야 하는 건지요?

1. font가 커졌어요
...............dpi가 틀려졌나.. 엔간하면 그런건 본적이 없는데말입니다.

2. nvidia logo를 안보고시퍼요
(저는 좋던데............)
Option "NoLogo" "True"

하시면 됩니다.......... 그외 부가적 기능은 nvidia driver의 doc을 찾아보세요 많은 Option들이 있답니다..@.@

dpi 쪽 문제인가 싶어서 구글을 검색하니 운좋게도 다음의 옵션을 발견 할 수 있었습니다.

Option "UseEdidDpi" "FALSE"
Option "DPI" "96x96"

이제 잘 나오네요. :)

참고로 xcalib도 이제 .deb로 제공됩니다. 직접 컴파일할 필요 없다는...

저 곳의 ICC 파일은 맥북용이므로 맥북 프로의 OS X 안에 있는 걸 가져다 써도 되고

The many Linux desktops do not have included support for color management of displays. Some drivers provide this support or you can the program xcalib. Xcalib uses colour profiles form Mac OS X (ICC profile).

Calibrate a profile in Mac OS X in System Preferences > Displays > Color - use Expert-mode for finer control. The saved profile will be in /Users//Libraries/ColorSync/Profiles.

Xcalib will be needed to calibrate in Linux:

이 내용을 참고하삼. 참고로 맥북의 경우 감마였나 색온도였나를 "윈도즈용"으로 잡아야 제 눈엔
리눅스에서 자연스러웠다는....
