[완료]컴파일 시 -static 옵션을 주니...

컴파일도 잘되고 프로그램도 잘 돌아갑니다.

그런데..

: warning: Using 'getpwuid' in statically linked applications requires at runtime the shared libraries from the glibc version used for linking
/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a(mf_pack.o)(.text+0x635): In function `unpack_dirname':

이런 경고 문구가 나옵니다.
이게 어떤 의미 인지 모르겠네요..
glibc 가 설치되어있어야 돌아간다는 뜻 같은데..

이런 경고가 문제가 되지 않나요?
왠지 찝찝해서 ..
리눅스 프로그램 경험이 별루 없어서

그냥 말 그대로라고 봅니다.

정적 링크 옵션을 사용했지만, 그걸 실행하려면 공유 라이브러리가 필요하다는 예기에요.

그러니까, 개발자 입장에서는, 공유 라이브러리를 완전히 배제한 실행 파일을 얻길 원했던 경우에 대한 조언 정도 되지 않을까 싶네요.

특별한 경우가 아니면, 정적 링크는 피하시는 게 좋습니다. 과거에 zlib 버그 사건에서도 정적 링크된 실행 파일은 그 버그로부터 자유롭지 못했었거든요.

경고 : 'getpwuid' 함수를 정적 링크된 응용 프로그램에서 사용하면, 링크할 때 사용했던 것과 같은 버젼의 glibc를 실행할 때에 요구합니다.

답변 감사합니다.

그런데..
같은 버전의 라이브러리가 필요하다는 뜻은

해당함수를 사용했을경우 정적 링크시킨 의미가 (약간은) 없는것 아닐까요..
