[해결]우분투 & 우분투에서 드라이버 설치중 에러

몇달전에 우분투 깔아서 실험하다 일이 생겨서 컴퓨터를 싹 밀고 다시 포멧을 하게 되었는데, 이번에도 우분투를 멀티로 같이 쓰려고 하는데 뭐가 문제인지 전에는 굉장히 쉽게 넘어갔던 랜카드 드라이버 잡아주는것도 제대로 되지 않고 있습니다. 하지만 지금 제 실력으로는 제가 뭘 잘못하고 있는지 감도 안 잡히기에 도움을 요청해 봅니다.

일단 하드는 100기가를 25기가 윈도우즈, 나머지를 데이터로 준 상황에서 다시 Feisty Fawn 인스톨 CD에서 데이터 파티션을 다시 35기가를 NTFS쪽으로 밀어줬구요. 그 후로는 남은 공간을 3기가 스왑, 나머지를 루트로 밀어줬습니다. 이렇게 해서 우분투가 깔리기는 합니다만 여기서부터 이미 전에는 없던 에러가 한번 뜨구요 (맨 첫 부팅시 에러가 있다고 하지만 우분투가 고쳤다는 메세지입니다) 그 후 다음 부팅부터는 그런 문제가 사라집니다.

이 사이트에서 파일을 홈 디렉토리의 Driver 디렉토리 안에서 풀어놓고 그대로 따라하는 도중에 make에서 막히고 있습니다. 중간에 3~40개 정도 warning: "_BIT_FIELDS_HTOL" is not defined 라는 에러가 뜨고, 마지막에는 expected ')' before string constant라는게 두개 뜹니다. 파티션 크기만 빼면 이 모든게 지난번 깔았을때와 동일한 상황인데도 전에는 이런 에러가 없이 인스톨 직후에서 저런 승상이 없었고 드라이버도 한번에 잘 되었는데... 혹시 제가 뭘 잘못하고 있는지 알고 계시는 분 계시면 도움 주시면 부탁드리겠습니다. 오늘 하루종일 검색을 했는데도 비슷한 정보도 못 찾고 있습니다. 감사합니다.

파일을 옮겨보니 훨씬 에러가 많군요. 100줄이 넘어가는...

링크 된 걸 보니 엑스노트에서 유선랜 드라이버 잡으시려는 것 같은데
제 경험으로는 센트리노 노트북에서 유선, 무선랜 모두 아무 설정 없이 기본 인스톨 상태에서 바로 동작 가능했습니다.
(저도 엑스노트 사용했었습니다.)
라이브시디에서도 인터넷이 안되던가요?

저게 엑스노트로 국한되는 하드웨어였나요...순간 깜짝.

아무튼 네, 기본적으로는 인터넷이 잡히지 않습니다. 정확히는 랜카드를 찾지를 못합니다. 그냥 모뎀만 덩그러니 보이더군요. 인스톨해도, 라이브 CD에서도 마찬가지입니다.

전에는 이걸 인스톨함으로서 해결했는데 이번에는 인스톨 하면서도 (위에 설명한) 이상한 안 뜨던 에러가 뜨질 않나.. make가 안 되질 않나... 제가 뭘 잘못하고 있는지 감이 안 잡히네요. 우분투를 벌써 6번이나 다시 깔고 있는데 진전이 없습니다. ㅠ.ㅠ

현재 Feisty Fawn 인스톨 시도중이고 Xnote M2쓰고 있습니다.

어디서 어떻게 제대로 했는지는 모르겠습니다만... 이 페이지로 해결을 봤습니다.

사실 내용상으로는 그때 찾았던 다른 페이지들이랑 다른게 없는데 아무튼 신기하게 다 되더군요.

웃기는건 유선랜을 연결했을 경우, 네트워크 매니저에서는 연결되어 있지 않은걸로 인식한다는 겁니다. 하지만 인터넷 하면 원활하게 돌아가니... 일단 이걸로 만족해야죠. 삽질은 싫어요... ㅠ.ㅠ
