리눅스 시간이 빨라지는 현상

회사에서 W/S용으로 쓰려고
Xeon 켄츠필드 3210 (쿼드코어)에 인텔3000 칩셋 메인보드로
시스템을 구축했습니다.
리눅스는 Fedora Core4 (Tool 지원 문제로 상위 버전은 설치 불가)를 설치했구요.
근데 시간을 보니 배정도 빨리가네요.
어찌된 일인지....?

코어2듀오 시스템(메인보드 965칩셋)에 CentOS 4.4를 쓰고 있는 시스템은 이상이 없구요...
좀더 떨어지는 하이퍼쓰래딩만 지원되는 펜4에 Fedora Core4 쓰는 시스템도 이상없는데,
Xeon만 그러네요.

(현재 임시방편으로 rdate 및 hwclock을 cron 걸어놓고 사용중입니다.)

grub의 kernel 항목 맨 뒤에 acpi=off 추가 후 재부팅 하세요.

되도록 centos 4.4 정도나 5 정도를 쓸것을 추천드립니다.

acpi off시키니까 제대로 돌아가네요.
자동전원관리랑 어떤 문제가 있는건지는 몰겠지만,
암튼 시간이 잘 맞으니 다행입니다.^^
