Feisty에서 언어를 영어로 설치하고 SCIM를 통해 한글입력 가능하게 하는 방법 부탁드립니다.

안녕하세요
Kubuntu를 설치 하려고 합니다. 언어를 영어로 설치하고 SCIM 만을, 언어를 한글로 선택 한 때처럼 사용할수 있는지요?
이상하게 Kubuntu에서 한글로 설치하고 나면 프로그램들이 이유없이 죽는것 같아서요.저만 그런지...ㅠ.ㅠ
에러만 없다면 영어든 뭐든 사전 찾아 해 보면 되지만 이 한글입력이 문제라...
답변 부탁드립니다.

전 이렇게 합니다.

터미널에 아래 두 명령어 복사해서 붙여씁니다.그리고 재부팅
그럼 땡 -_-

sudo ln -s /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim /etc/alternatives/xinput-en_US
sudo ln -s /etc/alternatives/xinput-en_US /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/en_US

우분투는 이렇게 하는데 kubuntu는 안써봐서 모르겠습니다.

Kubuntu Edgy RC1에서 SKIM 문제와 영문 Locale에서 한글 입력 http://rinapc.com/40

1. scim-hangul im-switch 설치
sudo apt-get scim-hangul im-switch

2.ko_KR.UTF-8 locale 생성
sudo locale-gen ko_KR.UTF-8

3. im-switch 설정
locale | grep LANG // 사용중인 locale 확인
im-switch -z en_US.UTF-8 -s scim-hangul

4. skim 자동 실행
