feisty stable이 언제 나오죠?

맥북에서 edgy로 잘 써오고 있다가 feisty fawn으로 dist-up을 했는데 부팅이 안되는 군요.
이틀동안 구글링 삽질했는데 안되서 우분투 홈피에 있는 feisty 알려진 bug 둘중에 하나에 해당하더군요.(Jmicron PATA chipset) 이렇게 허무할수가...
우분투 포럼의 최근 몇일간의 포스트중에 많은 삽질글들이 있었는데 드라이버 설정 문제 이외 그들도 저와 같은 하드웨어에 해당하는 사람도 많지 싶습니다.
패치가 있긴하나 initramfs ash에서 아예 키보드가 먹지도 않는 맥북에서 시도하기에 귀차니즘이 작용하네요.
다음 릴리즈에 반영된다지만 갈아 엎고 재설정 해야한다는 압박에 한숨만...
그나저나 맥북에 리눅스 안돌아서 간만에 osx 써보고 있습니다. 업그레이드가 좀 되군요. 공수로 Xcode gcc 환경을 공들여 나름대로 커스터마이징 했습니다. 좋군요...;;;
feisty 안정버전이 언제 나오지요? 그동안에는 리눅이를 못볼것 같네요. 4월말에 나온다고 얼핏들은 기억이...
아그리고 edgy에서 꼭 백업 받아두어야 할 설정 파일은 무엇이 있을까요?

이 쓰레드에 임시적 해결 방법이 있습니다.
아래 방법을 쓰시던가~ 아님 이전 커널로 부팅이 되면 그냥 이전 커널 쓰시죠.

OK, guys... for people with the same problem I had, I have found a solution.
I'll edit this post in a minute and tell you what I did to temporarily solve this problem, so don't despair yet.
Here it goes.
Go grab yourselves some sort of Live CD, anything with which you can access your Ubuntu partition with read & write acess (I used Damn Small, for instance)
The really simple solution for now is to replace your initrd.img-2.6.20-14-386 which is located in the /boot folder with the one that's marked as initrd.img-2.6.20-14-386.bak (the backup you replaced with the earlier upgrade).
Try booting into Ubuntu then, and... voilá. You're back
So, for the time being, and at least while you know it's not safe to upgrade, hold your trigger-happy littles finger, make a backup of the good initrd.img-2.6.20-14-386 and keep it for when you do venture into trying to upgrade again.

어제 이 버그 때문에 release candidate가 원래 어제로 계획되어 있었는데
연기 된거 같더라고요.
p.s. 어떤 분들은 13일밤의 금요일에 업뎃이라서 그렇다더군요. ㅋㅋㅋ
