우분투 엣지 한글 입력기 설정 질문

우분투 엣지 데스크탑이 원인을 알 수 없는 문제로 설치가 되지 않아서 서버로 설치한 후 데스크탑으로 업그레이드 했습니다.

gnome 띄우는데까지 했고 scim 이 설치되어 있는데 한글 입력기 한 영 전환을 할 수 없습니다.

SCIM 아이콘을 눌러 보면
영어/키보드 ->
기타 ->
영어/키보드

라고만 뜨고 한글입력기에 관한 정보는 없습니다.

예전에 VMWARE로 설치했을 때는 SCIM 에서 세벌식 설정까지 할 수 있었던 것으로 기억합니다.

제가 어떤 설정을 빠뜨렸을 까요?

sudo apt-get install scim-hangul 하시고 X를 재시작해보세요. (ctrl+alt+backspace)

혹시 영문 환경에서 사용하시는거 아닌가요?
영문 기본 환경이서는 SCIM이 안뜨더라고요.
영문기본환경에서도 SCIM을 같이 사용하시려면 터미널에서

sudo ln -s /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim /etc/alternatives/xinput-en_US

sudo ln -s /etc/alternatives/xinput-en_US /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/en_US

적어넣으시면 됩니다.

위에 내용은 보니 한글 환경이 다 안깔린거 같은데요.
system=>administration=>language support에서 한글 부분 체크 하셔서
뭐가 더 깔리는지 안깔리는지 함 보시죠?

im-switch를 쓰는 편이 간단합니다. 아래의 nabi와 scim의 건도 scim은 기본으로 설치되는 것이고 nabi는 따로 설치하는 것이니 후자가 우선권을 갖도록 조절을 해 놓아서입니다. update-alternatives로 무엇을 쓸 지 바꿀 수 있을 겁니다.

nabi 와 scim이 동시에 동작해서 발생하는 문제였습니다.

nabi 를 제거하니까 잘 동작합니다.
