Python에서 numerical 모듈 속도가 너무 느려요 -_-;;

이제 막 python을 공부하고 있는 중입니다.

오늘 python에 있는 수학모듈을 찾아보다가 Numerical을 설치하면

선형대수와 관련된 모듈들도 사용할 수 있다는 사실을 알아서 사용해보았는데

행렬연산과 관계있는 함수들은 별 문제 없이 잘 실행되었는데

eigenvalues함수와 eigenvectors함수들은 간단한 2*2행렬임에도 불구하고 10분이 지나도 끝날

생각을 안하네요 -_-; 원래 이렇지는 않을텐데;;

왜 이런지 아시는 분 있으시면 조언 부탁드립니다. ^^;;

Numerical은 개발이 중지(?)된지 꽤 될 겁니다. numarray이나 아니면 더 최신의 것인 numpy를 쓰시는게 좋을 겁니다. 저는 numpy를 추천합니다. 이게 Numerical과 numarray를 통합하기 위한 프로젝트이기 때문이기도 하고 scipy와의 연계 측면에서도 더 낳기 때문입니다. 아직 개발이 시작된지 오래되지 않아서 문서화가 잘 안되어 있긴 하지만 당장은 numarray의 매뉴얼과 docstring을 보면서 쓰면 크게 지장은 없을 겁니다. numpy는 윗 분이 적어주신 scipy 홈페이지에서 얻을 수 있습니다.
