드디어 도시바 노트북에 우분투 깔다.. ^^

도시바 포티지 S100에다가 드디어 우분투 6.06 LTS를 깔았습니다.

처음깔고 해본건 역시 compiz+xgl 입니다.

와우 멋진 데탑 전환에 출렁이는 효과..
근데 좀 하니까 재미 없더군요. ㅋㅋ
역시 구경할때랑 쓸때랑은 다르네요.
좀 울렁거리는 느낌도 있고.
정보 좀 찾아서 이펙트를 좀 줄여야 겠네요.

두번째 한 건 윈도우에서 굴림체 복사..
근데 익스플로러에서 볼때랑 파폭에서 볼때랑 다르네요. ㅡ,.ㅡ
글씨 뿐 아니라 뭔가 다르긴 하네요.

세번째 한 건 오페라 브라우저 설치.
빠르다고 말씀하시는 분들이 많아서..
컴이 빨라 그런가 무뎌서 그런가 저는 사실 큰 차이는 모르겠네요.

네번째 한 건 sun-java5-jdk 설치.
설치시 소스랑 도큐먼트도 포함해서 설치하는데 이걸 썬 웹사이트에서 직접 받으라는 메시지 출력. ㅡ,.ㅡ
귀찮아도 어쩔 수 없이 걍 다운 받아서 설치. ㅋㅋ

주말에 여기까지 하다 잤습니다. ^^

아참, 오페라는

에서 보고 리포지터리 추가해서 설치했습니다.

굴림체는 ~/.fonts.conf 를 수정하시면 되고
자바는 우분투 소스리스트에 추가가 되어서 apt-get으로 설치가 가능해졌습니다.

Sun 의 Java가 Debian과 Ubuntu 소스리스트에 등록이 되었습니다.
우분투에서 Sun Java를 설치하는 방법은
 
1. 소스리스트에 multiverse를 추가합니다.

2. 패키지를 설치합니다.
 
$sudo apt-get update
$sudo apt-get install sun-java5-bin sun-java5-plugin
 
3. gcj로 연결되어있는 환경설정을 sun java로 변경합니다.
 
$ sudo update-alternatives --config java
목록에서 sun java를 선택합니다.
 
 
4. 제대로 연결이 되었는지 확인합니다.
$java -version

이렇게 하시면 되겠군요;;;
