vim 편집기 밖에서 쓰는 글씨들을 복사하는 방법은?

vim 편집기 같은 경우에는 y 키를 쓰면 편하게 복사가 가능했는데요,

콘솔상에서 쓴 글씨를 복사하는 방법은 없는건가요?

현재 VM웨어 사용중이라 마우스로 드래그 하고 오른쪽 클릭하면 복사가 되는거 같던데

이게 실제 환경에서도 적용이 되는지 참 궁금하기에 이렇게 글 올립니다.

명령같은경우야 그냥 히스토리 기능 쓰면 되는거지만 grub에서 md5encypt 해서

나온 암호화된 비밀번호를 어디다 써서 grub.conf에서 보고 쓰기도 불편하더라구요...

콘솔상에서는 gpm을 쓰시면 마우스로 가능하고요.
보통은 출력 재지정을 해서 파일로 기록해서 재사용하는게 편하지 않을까요.

grub md5 이 명령이 암호화된 비밀 번호를 출력한다고 가정하고요

$ grub md5 >> /boot/grub/grub.conf

$ vi !$(/boot/grub/grub.conf)

아래쪽에 삽입된 암호문을 적절한 위치로 이동, 편집 ...

혹은 vi 내부에서

:r!grub md5

이런식으로 출력을 읽어들여도 편하지 않을까 합니다.
