맨드리바에서 커널이 SMP로 설치되지 않게 하려면.

맨드리바 2006을 받아 설치를 하니 커널 버전이 다음과 같이 나왔습니다.

여기서 smp로 깔리니 제가 사용하는 제품의 디바이스 드라이버가 설치되질 않네요.
SMP가 아닌 단일 프로세서모드로 설치할 수 없는지요.

참고로 페도라3를 사용해 봤는데 페도라는 2.6.8-12smp와 2.6.8-12 이렇게 두 가지로 만들어 지더라구요.
아직 맨드리바 쪽은 처음이라 많은 도움이 필요합니다. 아무쪼록 도와주십시요.

맨드리바라서 설치가 안되는 것 아닌가요?

smp라서 디바이스가 설치되지 않는 경우는 없는데요.

커널 컴파일하실ㅤㄸㅒㅤ smp옵션 빼면되겠네여 ㅡㅡ

National Instruments사에서 나온 Digital 관련 제품들은 안돼기도 하더군요.
그리고 커널 컴파일 까지 가야되는지... ㅠ.ㅠ
