그곳에가서 gxmame를 검색하여 소스리스트에 추가했더니
의존성 때문에 잘 설치되지 않더군요.
그래서 그 웹싸이트의 링크들을 따라가 소스포지의
gxmame의 데비안 패키지를 받아서 설치하고
물론 그 이전에 의존성 걸린 xmame, xmame-common 등 설치하였더니 GUI는 뜨는데 제대로 작동하지않아
$xmame gamename 했더니....

xmess로도 해보았으나 똑같은 결과.
롬파일이 .zip으로 된 것을 받아서 그런가요?
zip과 unzip도 다 설치되어있는데....

우선 gxmame를 사용하기 위해서는 gxmame뿐만 아니라 xmame.sdl이나 xmame.gl xmame.x중에 하나를 설치하시고 설정을 하셔야 합니다.
우선 이 세가지중에 하나를 선택해서 설치해보세요.
그리고 마메게임중에서는 간혹 바이오스라는 것도 필요한 경우도 있습니다.
즉 네오지오나 아니면 다른 게임 같은 경우에는 일부 파일은 바이오스가 포함하고 있는 경우가 있습니다.
그러니 검색창에 cps2나 아니면 네오지오 관련 게시판에서 마메용 바이오스를 받아서 롬파일이 복사된 디렉토리에 같이 복사 해주시면 잘 동작할것입니다.
그리고 엑스마메는 기복적으로 롬파일 디렉토리를 아마 usr/share/games/xmame/roms를 사용하는 것으로 알고 있습니다.거기가 생성되었는지 확인하시고 거기에 게임을 복사하시고 한번 실행해보세요.
PS:apt-get.org에서 검색 결과중에 웹엘리스로 한거면 데비안이나 아니면 우분투에서 잘 동작할텐데 이상하다고는 생각을 해봅니다.
우선 웹엘리스로 된 소스리스트를 첨가하고 설치를 합니다.
그리고 xmame.gl xmame.sdl xmame.x중에 하나를 설치하고 난다음에 xmame xmame-common xmame-extra등도 설치해줍니다.gxmame를 실행한후에 디렉토리에 xmame.gl xmame.sdl xmame.x를 설정하고 롬파일 디렉토리도 설정합니다.그리고 메뉴에서 리빌드 게임리스트로 게임 리스트를 리빌드 해주세요.그리고 게임 옵션을 손보신다음에 어베일러블 게임리스트에서 원하는 게임을 선택한후에 더블클릭하시면 됩니다.
키 설정은 게임 실행후에 탭키를 눌러 설정하시면 되구요.
게임은 zip파일로 압축되어 있어야 제대로 인식합니다.

와 같이 나오고 혹시나 해서 roms 디렉터리 퍼미션도 777로 주었는데.
그리고 gxmame에서 디렉터리 설정도 잡아 주고 rebuild game list를 해도 게임 목록에 아무것도 안나옵니다.
그래서
cd /usr/share/games/xmame/roms 한 다음에
xmame ./punchout
하니까 게임이 실행되는군요.
xmame가 롬 디렉터리를 읽지 못하는 것 같네요.
그래서 홈디렉터리 밑에
.xmame/xmamerc 를 만들어주고 거기에 롬디렉터리를 넣었더니
xmame punchout 하면 게임이 됩니다...ㅎㅎ.
그런데 gxmame는 여전히 게임을 못 읽어 오고요...

홈계정 밑의
.gxmame 밑에 있는 파일들 (dir.ini 나 gxmamerc) 등이 gxmame에서 설정을 변경해도 바뀌지를 않는군요...
아무래도 gxmame 잘 못 된 것을 설치해서 그런가봐요.
조금있다가 다시 설치하고 해 봐야 겠어요.
다시 설치해보고 보고 드리겠습니다.

제가 받아서 설치했던 gxmame 버전이 문제가 있던 것인가봐요.
34b-1 이라고 되어 있었는데,
손님님께서 걸어주신 링크에서 35 버전을 받아서 설치했더니
단번에 잘 되는군요....
캬캬...
gxmame 캡쳐의 오른쪽 아래 게임 개수 보세요...ㅎㅎ..
아주 오래전에 받아두었던 롬들인데 한동안 안했거든요.
당분간 일들이 좀 늦어지겠군요...ㅎㅎ.

앗 이거 오랫만에 하려다 보니 잘못 캡쳐했군요!
제가 갖고 있는 게임은 겨우 1800개 정도 밖에
안되는군요!!!!!!

혹시 시냅틱 관리자에서 xmame버전과 xmame-common등의 버전이
혹시 시냅틱 관리자에서 xmame버전과 xmame-common등의 버전이 같은지 확인해보세요...그게 다른 경우에 리빌드 게임 리스트해도 리스트가 나타나지 않더군요.패치하는 방법이 있다고는 하는데 저도 거기까지는 잘은 모르겠네요...
