Ajax on mobile(WM5)

모바일장비에서 ajax를 구현해보자 합니다

firefox도 상관없지만, 우선 pocket IE에서 가능성을 확인하려고 합니다

최신버전 window mobile 5.0의 pocket IE 스펙을 보니까
xhtml 지원
css 지원
xml 지원
등등의
내용이 있습니다

이정도면 ajax를 구현하는데 무리가 없겠는지
아시는분 알려주세요
즉, ajax의 최소사양을 알고싶다는 겁니다.

또 모바일버전의 firefox가 있는지 모르겠지만
firefox나 opera등 ajax가 가능한 모바일 웹브라우저를 찾고있습니다

자바스크립트로 XML 요청을 보내고 받을 수 있으면 Ajax를 쓸 수 있다고 봐야할 것 같습니다만, Pocket PC에서 될런지는 잘 모르겠습니다.

일단, xml 파서는 쓸 수 있고요. IE에서 xml 요청을 보내고 받을 때 쓰는 activex가 xmlhttp인데, 제 PPC 2003 기계에서는 요 activex가 작동하지 않는군요. WM5에서는 될지도 모르겠습니다. 뉴스그룹 찾아보니 스텁 COM을 만들면 ppc 2003에서도 xmlhttp를 사용할 수 있다고는 하는데, 글쎄요...

xml로 통신하더라도 ppc용 IE의 dhtml 구현이 매우 미약합니다. 동적으로 HTML DOM을 변경하는 것이 상당히 어렵습니다. DIV, SPAN의 innerHtml 정도를 넣을 수 있을 겁니다. style도 동적으로 변경이 거의 안됩니다.

무슨 애플리케이션을 만드실지는 잘 모르겠습니다만, 먼저 PocketPC IE의 특성을 잘 살펴보신 후 하시길 바랍니다.
