FreeBSD에서 유선랜카드 인식 문제

제가 사용하는 컴팩 M700 노트북에, 우분투를 설치하여 쓰다가, 처음으로 FreeBSD를 설치해봤습니다. 제가 사용하는 무선랜카드 (3com 제품)은 지원을 안하기에, 일반적인 유선랜카드 (PCMCIA Fast Ethernet Card)를 넣고 설치했는데, dmesg를 보면, 분명히 "ed0"로 랜카드가 인식됨을 알 수 있는데, ifconfig이나 sysinstall로 확인해보면, 쓸데없는 plip0에 관한 항목만 나옵니다.

ed0로 인식된 랜카드를 사용할 수 있도록 (ifconfig에서 detect할 수 있도록), 제가 무슨 작업을 해야하는지 알려주셨으면 합니다.

ed 가 인식되는 부분의 dmesg를 올려주세요! verbose모드라면
더 좋고..
그리고 pciconf -lv 결과두요.

우선 신경써주신 점 고맙습니다.

dmesg중 ed1 관련 부분은 아래와 같습니다.
...
ed1: <Fast Ethernet ... 16-bit PC Card> at port 0x100-0x11f irq 11 function 0 config 61 on pccard1
device_attach: ed1 attach returned 6
...

그리고, pciconf 결과는, 제 짧은 소견으로 유선랜 카드와 관련된 항목은 없어, 첨부하지 않았습니다. 제 노트북인, 컴팩 m700 노트북에 부착된 하드웨어 및 컨트롤러 목록이 나와있더군요.
