fedora4에서 모니터 설정이 안됩니다 ㅠㅠㅠ

fedora4에서 모니터 설정이 안됩니다...ㅠㅠ
왜 이런지...

세팅 -> 디스플레이 -> 하드웨어 -> 모니터에서 configure하려구 해도
선택 자체가 안되네요 ...
CANCEL버튼만 활성화되있고 OK나 SET TO DEFAULT는 마우스로 안 눌러집니다 ㅠㅠ
generic lcd 로도 지정할 수 없고...

참고로 제가 쓰는 모니터는 주연테크에서 구입한 현대전자에서 만들었다고하는 JT170LS입니다...

저의 지식으로는 어찌할 수가 없네요...

터미널을 여신뒤에 /etc/X11/xorg.conf를 직접 수정해주세요

모니터주사율하고 해상도부분을 설정해주시면 됩니다.

그냥 더블클릭하니까 text editor 로 나오고..

페도라라고 하시니깐 별다른 수정을 하지 않으셨으면 그놈 데스크탑일테니
그놈기준으로 설명하겠습니다.

노틸러스를실행해서 /etc/X11/xorg.conf를 여십시오
또는 xorg.conf파일을 선택한뒤에 마우스 오른버튼을 누르신뒤 텍스트편집기로 열기를 선택하시면 텍스트에디터가 열리면서 수정을 하실수가 있습니다.

우선

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
ModelName "SyncMaster"
DisplaySize 320 240
HorizSync 30.0 - 70.0
VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0
Option "dpms"
EndSection

이런 부분을 찾이신뒤에

HorizSync 30.0 - 70.0
VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0

수치를 자신의 모니터에 맞는 수치로 편집합니다.

그다음으로

SubSection "Display"
Viewport 0 0
Depth 16(또는 24)
Modes "1280x1024" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection

이부분에서 원하는 해상도를 작성해주시면 됩니다.
LCD17인치라면 "1280x1024"가 최적 해상도일것입니다.

편집이 완료되었다면 저장후 텍스트 에디터 종료

Ctrl+Alt+백스페이스키를 눌러주세요
그런뒤 다시 로그인~
