glibc 에서 simple_ 의 의미가 뭔가요

앞의 어떤 쓰레드를 보고, glibc를 다운 받아서 처음 열어 봤습니다. 저는 각 함수에 대한 한개의 소스만 있을거라고 생각했지만, 그게 아니였습니다 :oops: (scanf가 13개....)
예를 들어 string폴더의 파일이름앞에
test-가 붙은것과(test-strcmp 식으로 ), tst-가 붙은것(tst-strlen), 아무것도 않붙은것들의 의미가 궁금합니다.
그리고 함수 이름들이 simple_strcmp() , stupid_strcmp(), do_one_test(), do_test(), do_random_tests() 가 여러가지가 있는데 함수 이름으로 봐서는 테스트를 위한것 같은데, 다른 의미가 있나요

glibc 소스 내부에는 test를 위한 여러 소스들이 같이 있습니다.

테스트하기 위해 사용되지 이것이 glibc라이브러리 바이너리에 포함되거나 하진 않습니다.
