FreeBSD 에서 mysql 4.1: ( 를 누르면 backspace 됩니다.

mysql-4.1.9 를 FreeBSD 5.3 에 소스로 컴파일했습니다.
그런데, mysql client 를 쓰려고 하는데, '(' 문자가 backspace 문자로 나오는겁니다.

예를들어,
mysql> select * from table where date < now();

를 쳐야하지만, now 에서 '(' 키를 치면, w 를 먹고, no 만 남습니다.
키가 잘못 mapping 된 경우라면, 고칠방법을 잘 모르겠군요.
간단히 고칠수 있는방법이 없을까요? 아님 다시 깔면 괜찮을까요?

혹, FreeBSD 에서 locale 이 문제가 될수 있을지도 모르겠단 생각이 들지만,
어쨌든, 혹시 이런문제에 대해 아시는분 계신가요?

4.1.9가 최근에 나온것인가 보군요. 아직 Gentoo에는 올라오지 않은걸 보니...
일단 edit로 해당 SQL을 써보세요. 여기서는 외부 editor를 이용하는데 여기서도
'('가 backspace로 인식이 된다면 시스템의 키보드맵을 수정해줘야겠죠.
LINUX에서는 /etc/rc.conf 와 비슷한 파일에서 KEYMAP을 수정하면 되겠지만
FreeBSD는 어떨지 모르겠습니다.
만일 외부 editor에서는 정상적인 동작을 한다면 mysql client의 잘못일것 같네요.
이건 mysql에 버그 리포트를 올려보시면 어떨까 생각됩니다.

mysql client의 문제라면 불편하시더라도 당분간 이문제가 해결되기 전까지는 edit
명령을 이용하는게 좋을것 같네요.
