[질문] telnet이 잘끊겨버립니다.

안녕하세요 이승현이라고 합니다.

한컴리눅스를 사용하고 있는 리눅스 사용자인데요

텔넷을 사용하다 잠시 다른일을 할라치면 연결이 끊겨서 문제가 되고 있습니
다.

처음에는 안전을 위해서 텔넷을 끊어주는 고마운 배려인줄 알았더니만

서버의 메모리에는 남아있고 저와 연결만 끊어진것이더군요..

결론은 텔넷 서버에 문제가 있다는 이야기 인데..

어디 세팅을 해주거나 패치를 해주면 해결될수 있는 문제인지 알고 싶습니다.

Server와 Client의 환경이 어떻게 되는지요?
Server직접 설치하셨습니까?
아니라면 아마 예전에 이만용씨께서 만든 그 telnet을 이용한게
아닌가 하는데...
이만용씨가 만든 telnet은 이정시간(3분...)동안 입력이 없으면
Enter를 보내주는 그런것이 있었는데...
그리고 man telnet에는 다음과 같은 문장이 있네요.

NOTES
On some remote systems, echo has to be turned off manually when in ``old
line by line'' mode.

In ``old line by line'' mode or LINEMODE the terminal's eof character is
only recognized (and sent to the remote system) when it is the first
character on a line.

직접 서버를 관리하신다면 man telnet에서 원인 및 조치방법을 찾을 수 있을것 같군요.
