커널 2.4.x 에서 2.6.x 로 변경후 부팅시 문제가 생겼습니다.

안녕하세요
잘 쓰던 gentoo-source 2.4 커널에서 gentoo-dev 2.6으로 변경을 했는
데 부팅 중간에 문제가 발생했습니다. 처음 접하는 문제라 질답란을 봐도 이해
가 되질 않아서 글을 쓰게 됐습니다.
그런데

0xf000ef6f <--- 화면에 이 메시지가 나온뒤 더이상 진행이 되질 않습니다.
정확이 말하자면 화면은 윗 메시지만 떠 있고 계속 진행되는것 같은데
보이질 않으니 알 수 가 있어야죠.
밑에 로그를 카피해 봤습니다.
그래서 무식하면 용감하다고 몇번씩 껏다가 켜고 반복을 했지만
해결하지 못 했습니다.
질답란에 보니 프레임 버퍼 라고 올라온 글들이 눈에 띄던데 제 경우도 그 질
문들과 관련된 문제인가요?
문제를 해결할 수 있는 길 좀 가르쳐 주십시요, 부탁드리겠습니다.
