net-snmp 설치 운영시 set 문제

안녕하세요.. net-snmp-5.2를 설치 후에 운영하려고 합니다.
다름이 아니라 get은 잘 되는 데 set은 안 되는 문제가 발생했습니다. v1으로 테스트를 하면 No such name 이라는 메시지가 뜨고 v2로 테스트하면 write권한이 없다는 메시지가 나오는데요..
설정 파일은 EXAMPLE.conf파일을 시스템에 맞게 조금 변경하여 쓰고 있고, MIB 디렉토리에서 sysLocation이나 sysContact를 설정한 파일들을 열어보면 ACCESS가 모두 read-write로 되어
있습니다. 이렇게 되면 set이 되야 하는 거 아닌가요? 혹시 운영
시에 snmpd외에 따로 실행시켜야 할 것이나 아니면 설정을 변경
해 주어야 할 부분이 있나요? 저번에 어떤 분이 EXAMPLE.conf 파일을 잘 읽어보면set할 변수를 주석처리하라는 메시지가 있다고 말씀하셨는데, 아무리 잘 읽어봐도 그런 메시지는 없네요.. snmpd.conf에서 set할 변수를 설정하는 건 아닌 거 같습니다.
뭔가 명쾌한 대답이 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 경험 있으신 분 계시면 답변 부탁드리겠습니다.

example.conf에보면
아래의 부분이 있쥐요 잘 읽어보세요. snmpd.conf에 object의 값을 주면 그 object가 READ-ONLY가 된다고 나와있죠.
syscontact를 주석처리하고 테스트해서 set잘 되는것을 확인했습니다.
