[질문] 네트워크 설정

안녕하세요
벌써 3일째 인지 4일째 인지
네트워크 설정이 되질않아 애를 먹고 있습니다.
어떻게 해야 잡을수 있는지 좀 갈켜 주세요

제가 한순서입니다.

1. ifconfig -a eth0 211.174.69.15
2. ifconfig eth0
..
.. 생략 ..

3. route add -net xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask xxx.xxx.xx.xx eth0
3번의 경우는 Error가 발생합니다.
이걸 질문을 드렸드니. 어느분께서
3번은 아예 무시를 하고 다음으로 넘어 가서 작업을 하라고 하더군여

4. route add default gw xxx.xxx.xxx.xx
SIOCADDRT Network is unreachable

이상입니다.
네트워크 설정은 어케 해야 하는지 좀 갈켜주세요
초보라 뭐가 뭔지 모르겠습니다.
