젠투 startx 에서 좌절입니다...
펜티엄3, 인텔815메인보드라서 커널컴파일시 agp surpport,
i8XXㅤㅊㅣㅍ셋 지원 체크했습니다...
그리고 겨우 gnome과 xorg 설치하고 설래는 마음으로 startx 때렸더니 이런 메시지를 때려주네요..

X -configure로 파일 얻었으면 이 파일을 열어보세요.sc

screen 섹션은 손으로 조정해 줘야 합니다.
먼저 DefaultColorDepth 24를 추가하시고 (24bit를 쓰겠다는 뜻)
그다음 SubSection "Display" 중 Depth 24가 있는 곳의 해상도를 지정하시면 됩니다.
(Modes "1024x768" 등등)
휠마우스면 Mouse Section도 설정 변경해야 휠이 먹힙니다.

xorg -configuer 하시고
root에 xorg.conf 파일을 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 로 복사하시고
해상도 부분을 손보면 됩니다.
