파티션을 어케 나눠야???

안녕하세요...
진짜 초보입니다.

다름이 아니라 제가 현재 2000 서버를 쓰고 있습니다.
파티션은 C에 10G, D에 9G 로 나눠서 쓰고 있죠.
그런데 여기다가 리눅스를 인스톨 하려고 하는데 파티션을 어케 나눠야 합니
까?
기존 C와 D에는 데이타가 있는게 이거 백업 받지 않고 할 수는 없나여?

제발 알려 주세요...

현재있는 데이터를 그대로 유지하면서 리눅스를 설치하려면
새로운 하드를 장만하는게 좋겠네요.
