커널 컴파일시 에러 메세지...

커널 2.4.2를 compile하던 중 아래와 같은 경고 메세지가
나오던데 어떤 의미이고, 이렇게 compile이 되어도 이상이
없는 것인지요.
알고 싶습니다.

warning kernel is too big for standalone boot from floppy
이것은 현재 만들어진 커널이미지가 너무 커서 플로피 디스크에 넣지를
못한다는 즉, 플로피 부팅을 하지 못한다는 경고일뿐이죠.
만일 플로피 디스크 부팅을 하려한다면 사용하지 않는사항들을 빼고
최적화 시켜 다시 컴파일 시키면 되겠네요. )
