해상도 설정 안됩니다.

한컴리눅스4.0 배포판을 깔았는데요.

해상도 설정이 되지 않습니다.
X윈도우는 되거든요.
근데 해상도가 640X480으로 되어 있습니다.

정말 불편하더라고요.
근데 해상도 변경 보면 800X600으로 설정이 되어 있고요.
1024X768로 바꾸고 재부팅하거나
로그아웃하고 다시 들어와도 마찬가지더라고요.

왜 이런거죠?

비디오카드는 NVIDIA 리바TNT VANTA
이고요. 한솔 500A 모니터를 쓰고 있습니다.

급한건데 꼭 답변부탁드립니다.

/etc/X11/XF86Config 파일중에 다음과 같은 부분을 참조하셔서

Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier     "XFree86 Configured"
    Screen        "Screen0"          <-- 이부분
    InputDevice    "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
    InputDevice    "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
    InputDevice    "DevInputMice" "AlwaysCore"
    Option         "Xinerama" "on"
EndSection

위의 Screen부분에서 지정한 값을 아래의 Section "Screen"에서 같은 값을
찾으세요.
그런 후에
Section "Screen"
    Identifier "Screen0"
    Device     "Card0"
    Monitor    "Monitor0"
    DefaultDepth 24
    SubSection "Display"
        Depth     24
        Modes     "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" <-- 이부분
        ViewPort  0 0
    EndSubSection
EndSection

Modes에 원하는 해상도를 써주면 됩니다. 여러개의 해상도를 사용하고 싶다면
위예제처럼 공간을 띄우고 해당되는 해상도를 써주면 됩니다.
그리고 설정파일을 바꾸고나서 컴퓨터를 껏다가 켜실 필요가 없습니다.
[Ctrl]+[Alt]+[BackSpace]를 누르면 X윈도가 종료되고 다시 시작되니 설정을
바꾸고 위의 키를 한번만 눌러주시면 됩니다.
설정되어진 해상도들을 변경하는방법은 [Ctrl]+[Alt]+ 키패드의 [+] 또는 [-]를
눌러주면 됩니다.
