암호 알고리즘 AES에 대해서 고수님들 부탁드립니다.

안녕하세요. 열심히 배우는 초보 리눅서입니다.
다름이 아니라, 제가 암호 알고리즘 함수를 이용하여 프로그램을 만들려고 하는데요. Openssl 에 보니깐, RSA, DES... 등 요즘 암호 알고리즘은 거기 다 있더군요. 그런데, AES 암호 알고리즘 API는 없어요
AES 암호 알고리즘을 API로 구현한 것은 없는 가요? 분명 공계적으로 API를 공계했을 것라는 생각이 드는데, 아무리 찾아봐도 없어요~
그리고, openssl의 함수에 대해서 좀 자세히 설명 된 자료는 없는지...
(www.openssl.or.kr 여기에 있는 자료 말고요)
