리모트X 윈도우가 실행되지 않습니다.

X-manager라는 프로그램으로 원격의 리눅스 박스에 접속해서 x윈도우를 실행시켰습니다.
일단 옵션실행으로 다음과 같이 주었구요

[leejw@choco leejw]$ /usr/bin/X11/xterm -ls -display 10.10.40.111:0.0

그런데 X윈도우를 실행하면 다음과 같은 에러가 나네요..

[leejw@choco leejw]$startx

Fatal server error:
PAM authentification failed, cannot start X server.
Perhaps you do not have consol ownership?

Please consult the X.org Foundation support

....

PAM authentification은 대체 뭔 소리인지...
고수여러분의 조언 부탁드립니다.

PAM authentification 일종의 권한 관리 시스템입니다.

어떤 의도로 startx가 필요하셨는지 모르시겠지만,
일단.. x윈도우 내의 콘솔 내부에서는
startx를 할 수 없습니다.

헉.. 윈도우 콘솔 내에서 X윈도우를 실행시킨게 아닌데요..
X manager로 리모트 쉘로 들어간 다음에 X윈도우를 실행시킨 것입니다. --;
따라서 쉘에서 X윈도우를 실행시키려면 startx를 해야하잖겠어요?

X manager 가 이미 X가 떠있는 상태인겁니다. 리눅스가 깔린 컴퓨터를 마주보고 키보드를 칠 때 startx 명령을 써서 X를 기동시키고(여러 스타트 스크립트가 구동되면서 말이죠)윈도우에서 x manager 가 떠있다는 건, 이미 X 서버를 올렸다는 것! (즉 여러 gui 어플리케이션을 x manager 위에 띄울 준비가 되어있다는 것!)

이제 xterm 으로 연결된 상태에서 gnome-session 이나 startkde 등의 명령을 실행하시면 되는 것이겠습니다.

물론 어거지로 띄울 수도 있겠지만요.
