해상도가 변경이 되지 않습니다.

Fedora Core 2 Test3 사용하고 있습니다.
후지츠 S6120 노트북 사용하고 있습니다.
해상도가 800 600 까지 밖에 나오지 않습니다.
원래 1024 768이 되는 모델이죠.
/etc/X11/XF86Config 파일에서 Modes 부분에 "1024x768"
추가해줬는데도. 무조건 800X600 으로 나옵니다.

redhat-config-xfree86 이라는 명령이 없어졌는지.
않나오네요.
어찌해야 바꿀 수 있나요.

LCD 는 General LCD Type 1024x768 이고
Intel 852 칩셋입니다.

XFree86이 4.x 이상일 때는 XF86Config-4를
쓰는 걸로 알고 있습니다. XF86Config-4에서 한번
수정을 해보세요.

Ctrl Alt + (or -) 눌렀을 때 해상도가 바뀌시나요?

Modes 에 추가를 했는데도 그 해상도로 안나오는 것이라면 다른 문제겠지만,

기본값이 어떤 것인가의 문제라면 1024x768 의 위치를 바꿔보신다거나

아예 원하시는 해상도를 제외한 나머지를 모두 없애는 것도 하나의 방법일 듯 합니다.

xorg-x11 과 pyxf86config를 업데이트 하신 후에 system-config-display --reconfig를 실행하세요.
그리고 X설정 파일은 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 입니다.
