VMWare 윈도우 버전에서, 왜 'CD-ROM 자동 실행' 을 해제해야 하

VMWare 윈도우 버전에서, 왜 'CD-ROM 자동 실행' 을 해제해야 하는 건가요?

뭔가 잘못된 동작을 한다는데요...

잘 모르겠습니다.

전체 화면으로 띄워놓고 사용하다가 시디롬 넣거나 했을때 호스트 OS쪽에서도
자동실행으로 자동으로 밖으로 튕겨나가기 때문에 그렇게 하지 않나 싶습니다
확인은 안해봤지만 말입니다..
전 오히려 불편해서 걍 자동실행 활성화 시켜놓고 사용합니다
VMware쓰면서 시디롬 쓸일도 별로 없고해서요..

VMWare 사이트에서 찾아보니,

VMware products can interact in undesirable ways with the CD-ROM autorun feature on the host. This can cause a CD-ROM intended for a guest operating system to start on the host operating system or cause a CD-ROM to start simultaneously on the host and in the guest. The installer included with VMware software prompts you to allow it to disable CD-ROM autorun on the host system. VMware GSX Server and Workstation also warn you if autorun is enabled when you power on a virtual machine.

이런 게 있군요.

1. 게스트 오퍼레이션 시스템이 고의로 호스트 오퍼레이션 시스템을 시작할수 있는 원인이 되거나

2. 시디롬이 동시에 시작되는 (윈도우와 리눅스에서) 일이 발생할수 있다

무슨 뜻일까요?
