man에 대해서

c의 read함수를 보기위하여 다음과 같이 실행했습니다만
man read

c에서 사용되는 매뉴얼정보가 출력되지 않고 셀에서(?)
사용되는것 같은 메뉴얼이 표시되고 있습니다.

c의 read함수를 보고 싶을때랑 다른 예를 들면 셀에서
사용되는 명령/함수를 보고싶을때 구분해서 man를 사용합니까?
