레드햇 9.0에서 해상도가 안 바뀌네요.

검색을 죽 해본 결과

9.0에서는 redhat-config-xfree86으로 해상도를 조절한다는 것을 알았습니다.

그런데 제 컴이
dell사의 demension 4600이고
모니터 DELL E172FP
비디오카드 Intel 856입니다.

다 잡았고요,

해상도를 1600X1200으로 조정할려고 하는데 계속 안됩니다.
x 재시작을 해도 안되고 항상 640x480으로만

일단 제가 보기에 문제는 redhat-config-xfree86에서
640x480부터 1600X1200로 조절을 하는 동안

그 조절 윈도우 바탕화면은 크기가 변하지 않고 바탕화면을 감싸고 있던
사각형 점선들만 죽 늘어납니다.

어떻게 해야될지 모르겠습니다.

/etc/X11/XF86Config 화일에 보면

Screen 이란 섹션에

Subsection Display 란 부분이 있을겁니다.

거기에 아래와 같은 글을 추가 하세요.

Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

으 확인해보니 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
이부분은 원래 이렇게 되어 있었습니다.
