mrtg 설치중에 나타나는 에러입니다.

mrtg 설치중입니다.
시스템 환경은 레드헷 9.0에서 커널 2.6.3 환경입니다.
기본적으로 필요한 것들이 설치돼어 있어서 jpeg만 설치해주고
시도해 봤습니다.
에러가 나더군요...
그래서 소스 파일로
gd-2.0.22
libpng-1.0.8
zlib-1.2.1
을 따로 설치해주었습니다.
그래도 mrtg가 아래의 메시지만 나오고 메이크 파일이 만들어 지지 않습니다.
머가 문제인지...답답해 죽겠습니다.
갈길은 먼데....예전에 설치할때는 쉽게 돼었던거 같은데...왜 안돼는걸까요?

   use either --with-gd-lib=DIR and --with-gd-inc=DIR to specify
   its location. You might also have to use --with-z-inc, --with-z-lib
   and --with-png-inc, --with-png-lib for gd versions 1.6 and higher.
   Check config.log for more information on the problem. If your system
   has libgd installed, you probably mis the gd.h header file.
