솔라리스-레드햇 사이의 해상도 문제

Solaris8/Sparc (SUN) 와 Fedora/x86 (Linux) 을 쓰고 있습니다.
둘다 GUI 모드이구요.

환경변수 DISPLAY 를 이용해서 창들을 불러다 쓰는데요, 다음과 같은 문제점이 있습니다.

범례,
SUN : Solaris8/Sparc
Linux : Fedora/x86
PC : Windows/x86

1. Linux 에서 SUN 의 창을 불러오면 잘 보입니다.
2. Linux -> Linux = OK
3. Linux -> PC = OK (rdesktop 이용)

4. PC -> Linux = OK (xmanager 이용)
5. PC -> SUN = OK (xmanager 이용)

6. SUN -> SUN = OK
7. SUN -> Linux = NG


위에 나타낸 결과들을 보면, 페도라/솔라리스 서버에서 해상도를 뿌려주는 것에는 이상이 없어 보입니다.
각각의 클라이언트들이 받아들이는 것들도 마찬가지로 문제가 없어 보이구요.
유독 솔라리스(서버)에서 페도라(클라이언트)의 창을 불러오면 해상도가 떨이지는 느낌이 듭니다.
무엇이 문제일까요?
솔라리스와 페도라간에 궁합문제일까요? (Redhat9 에서도 같은 증상입니다.)

그럴수도 있겠네요. 그렇다면 폰트를 솔라리스 쪽으로 맞춰줘 봐야 겠습니다.
