비디오 드라이버가 제대로 설치가 안됩니다..

노트북에 VMware를 사용해서 레드헷 9.0을 설치를 했습니다.

노트북에 설치된 비디오 카드는 Geforce Fx인데 이것로 선택하면

X윈도우가 뜨지를 안습니다.. 그래서 그냥 vesa 방식으로 선택하니

x윈도가 뜨더군요.. 무슨 해결방안이 없을지..

제 노트북은 바이오 -3G/ 1G램 입니다.

노트북에 설치된 비디오카드가 데스크탑이랑 틀려서 그런지...

노트북은 최고 사양인데 바탕화면 아이콘은 대문짝 만하니..

맘에 영 안듭니다..

그리고 VMware로 리눅스를 설치하니.. 조금 느려진 느낌이..

직접 리눅스를 까는 것을 포긴한 후 VMware 를 사용해서 까니 너무

편하구 문제도 없어서 좋긴한데... 실제로 그렇게 속도차이가

나는지. 궁금합니다.

VESA방식으로 우선 설치하시고 설치 폴더의 linux.iso파일을 마운트 하셔서 vmware-tools를 설치하시면 됩니다.
