read 를 하는데 멈춥니다....

클라이언트 프로그램을 만들고 있는데요...

서버에 소켓연결후 read 를 호출해서 데이터를

읽어오다 보면 가끔, 랜덤하게 (그냥 어쩌다가-_-) 한번씩 멈추네요...

그래서 fcntl 로 요렇게 써줘봤습니다.

fcntl (sockfd, O_NONBLOCK);
size = read (sockfd, pbuffer, MAXSIZE);
fcntl (sockfd, O_SYNC);

그런데도 역시나 가끔, 랜덤하게-_- 멈춥니다...

으앙.. 대체 왜 이런지...

read 가 어떤경우에 멈추는건지... 알고싶어요.. T_T

fcntl (sockfd, O_NONBLOCK); <-- 이것은 동작하지 않습니다.
위의 함수는 socket을 만든후 connect를 call하기 전에 호출 해야지요.
아무때나 호출한다고 되는게 아니지요.

그러고 하나 지적하고 싶은것이 있네요. 그렇게 호출하여 사용하는
것은 쉬운일이나 disconnect에 대한 대비는 어케 할랑가요?
장담하건데 그렇게하면 server의 shutdown이나 close를 인지하지
못하게 될건데요.

왜냐고요. 일반적으로 server의 close로 tcp가 closewait상태에 있으면
read는 0을 리턴하는데, non blocking read에서 자료가 없을때도 read는
0을 return하거던요. 요거 구분할수 있다면 당신은 아마 천재일거요.

NON-BLOCKING 의 read 에서 자료가 없을때에는

에러인 -1 을 반환하고 errno 은 EAGAIN 을 가지네요...

전 천재는 절대 아니지만 졸지에 천재가 되어버렸네요^^
