reader, writer 문제를 해결하기 위한 도구가 있을까요?

reader, writer 문제를 해결하고 싶습니다.

락이나 세마포어를 이용해서 약간 코딩을 해주면 해결 가능하겠지만,
혹시 미리 준비된 도구가 있을까 해서 질문드립니다.

도구가 없다면, 락이나 세마포어를 이용한 해결법에 대해 최적화된
알고리즘이 나온 것이 있는지 알고 싶습니다.

readers/writer 문제만을 위한 lock 가능한 함수들이 있습니다.

리눅스에는 synch.h 가 없던데요. 추가적인 라이브러리가 필요한 것인지
알고 싶습니다. (솔라리스에는 있더군요.)

제 개발 환경은 레드햇 7.1 입니다.

리눅스에서는 pthread.h에 정의되어 있습니다.

__USE_UNIX98 이란 매크로가 걸려있던데, 어떻게 하면 컴파일
가능할까요?

-D로 정의해도 에러가 나던데요.
