질문하신분들은 많은데 답이 없네요... Kernel Panic : No init

안녕하세요.
김성태입니다.

Kernel 2.6.0을 다운받고 열심히 컴파일을 했습니다.
여기저기 문서를 찾아서 module-init-tools를 찾아서 설치 했습니다.

# make mrproper
# make menuconfig
# make dep
# make bzImage
# make modules
# make modules_install
# make install
위와 같은 순서로 커널을 컴파일 했습니다.

# vi /etc/grub.conf파일을 보니 정상적으로 추가가 되었습니다.
# ls -l /boot를 해서 보니정상적으로 이미지들이 만들어 져 있더군요..

그래서 리부팅을 했습니다.

여기부터 에러인데요.

Mounting root filesystem
mount: error 19 mounting ext3
pivotroot: pivot_root(/sysroot,/sysroot/initrd) failed: 2
umount /initrd/proc failed: 2
Freeing unused kernel memory: 264k freed
Kernel panic: No init found.  Try passing init- option to kernel.

위와같이 에러가 나고 죽습니다. 혹 initrd가 잘못만들어졌나 싶어서
여러번 다시 만들어 봤습니다.

무엇이 문제일까요..

여러문서를 찾고 bbs.kldp.org에서도 검색을 해봐서 이것저것 해봤는데
답이 보이지 않네요...

문제는 파일 시스템을 마운트 하지 못한것에 있는것 같습니다.

커널 configure 에서 파일시스템쪽을 체크 해보시면 될듯 합니다.^^;;

혹시 ext3 지원을 모듈로 넣으신것 아닌가요. ㅡ.ㅡ
