노트북 pcmcia xircom 랜카드 인식에대해서...

처음에 레드헷 9.0을 시디로 부팅해서 http연결을 통해 리눅스를 설치했습니다.

설치가 됐다는건 인터넷이 된다는거였을텐데

지금 설치 완료후에 인터넷이 안됩니다. 넷트웍이 안되요.

/etc/init.d/network restart 시키면

loop back 이랑 eth0에서 ip_tables (c) 2000-2002-netfilter....어쩌구저쩌구
하는말나오면서 ok라고 나오긴합니다만 이런건 처음보네요...

ip를 옆에 데스크탑하고 같은걸 넣어서 데스크탑에 충돌메세지가 안나오는것 봐서는

몬가 설정이 잘못된게 아닌가 싶은데 모르겠습니다. 저기저 iptables때문에 그런걸까요? 아 머리아프네요

그리고 시디롬으로 부팅은 되는데 리눅스띄운다음 마운트 시키면 인터럽트 에러
i/o에러 그런게 막떠요 T.T

PCMCIA모듈이 안올라가서 그럴 수도 있을겁니다.
모듈을 올린다음 네트워크 연결을 해보시거나 커널컴파일을 해보시는게 좋겠네요.

CD-ROM부팅시 나오는 I/O에러는 거의 90%는 CD-ROM자체의 문제로 알고 있
습니다.
가끔 CD Image가 안좋아서 그런경우도 있긴합니다만 제 경험상으로는 CD-ROM
자체문제가 가장 많더군요. 특히나 삼X CD-ROM은 자주 그런현상을 냅니다.
열을 식히고(-.-; ) 다시 시도하면 될때도 있긴하지만 별로 추천하고 싶진 않은 제품
이죠.
