xfce사용시 메모리 사용량은?

RedHat9에 Gnome + Vmware를 사용하고 있습니다.
아무래도 두개의 OS를 같이 쓰다 보니 메모리압박이 있군요.

그래서 리눅스상에서 GNOME2대신에 xfce4를 사용하려고
하는데 실제로 메모리 사용량은
xfce4와 GNOME2에 차이가 있나요? 이런 내용은 찾을수가
없어서 이렇게 질문을 드립니다.

xfce사용자분들의 의견 기다리겠습니다.

GNOME2 보단 덜하면 더했지 더하진 않으리라 생각합니다.
xfce4는 GNOME2에 비해 아주 기본적인 데스크탑 환경만 갖추었으니까요.
로딩 속도로만 생각하더라도 훨씬 빠르지 않습니까?

아니면 미니멀하게 blackbox류를 쓰시던지요.

하지만 적어도 "데스크탑" 환경을 갖추길 원하신다면 xfce4만한 것이 없지 않을까 생각됩니다.

제 경우엔 블박에서 넘어 왔는데 이넘 때문에 블박은 쓰질 않네요.
(블박보단 로딩이 아주 조금 더 걸리더군요.)
