포스트 스크립트 프린트

gv로 포스트 스크립트 프린트를 하니까 잘 되는데
ggv(gnome ghost view)나 xfig로 프린트를 하니까 프린터에 신호는 가는데(processing job 표시가 나오는 걸로 봐서)걍 묵묵부답입니다.

물론 양쪽다 프린트 명령은 lpr로 되어있습니다.(제가 기존 lpr은 slpr로 바꾸고, 지금의 lpr은 다음과 같이 해놓았습니다. 포스트스크립트 프린터를 에뮬레이트 하기 위해서입니다)

gs -r600dpi -sDEVICE=ljet4 -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -q -sOUTPUTFILE=\|slpr $1<<^

quit
^

도대체 무슨 문제일까요? 프린트가 아주 안되는 것도 아닌데 말이죠....

만들어진 파일을 

lpr file.ps

로 직접 텀에서 프린트하면 아주 잘 됩니다.

자문자답입니다.

일반적으로 어플에서 바로 프린트 할때는 포스트 스크립트 명령어들을 lpr명령으로 리다이렉션 시켜서 프린트 합니다.

쉽게 풀어서 말하면

lpr file.ps

의 형식이 아니라
cat file.ps | lpr

가 되는 것입니다.
제가 만든 lpr의 스크립트를 보면 리다이렉션을 제대로 처리할수 없습니다.
따라서 제가 먼저 만든 lpr 스크립트는 gslpr이라는 명령으로 바꾸고 lpr을 다음과 같이 만듭니다.
#!/bin/csh
cat > /tmp/tmpps;
/usr/bin/gslpr /tmp/tmpps;
rm /tmp/tmpps

로 리다이렉션 된 놈을 /tmp/tmpps 로 저장시켜 그놈을 gslpr로 출력하게 했습니다.
이제 프린트 명령이 모든 어플리케이션에서 잘 먹습니다 휴 -_-;
